The PARKLOT

The PARKLOT

Free Flicks in the Parklot

Gaviidae Common •  651 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis

Everyone is welcome to a seat in our latest “pop-up” Parklot– a retro-cool movie lounge. We’ll have movies playing on a loop, so stop for a break or for the full film! Grab a bagel at Brueggers, some coffee from Caribou, healthy eats from Freshii, or induldge in sweet treats from Cocoa & Fig – all nearby!

So what’s a Parklot? It’s a way to take underused spaces and turn them into public gathering areas for anyone to stop by, lounge, read, or meet up with friends. To date, Bank of America has sponsored five Parklots throughout the West Downtown MPLS Cultural District (WeDo™) in collaboration with the Trust.

Learn more about Parklots and other unexpected offerings in WeDo at wedompls.org. Interested in using this space for a special gathering? Get in touch with us at joan.vorderbruggen(at)hennepintheatretrust.org
